TERMS and CONDITIONS
Personal Property Auction
May 6th, 2023 at 9:00 AM
- Bids will be accepted only from bidders that have duly registered in accordance with the terms and conditions of sale.
- Bidders must present a valid ID in order to register to bid and obtain a bid number.
- Bidders with a tax-exempt ID number must fill out a Sales Tax Certificate of Exemption in entirety when registering to bid.
- Bidders shall satisfy themselves as to the condition, quality, and description of the property before bidding. All information and descriptions are believed to be correct; however, no warranties or guarantees are expressed or implied.
- All property is sold “AS IS, WHERE IS, WITH ALL FAULTS.”
- There shall be a BUYER’S PREMIUM OF 10% added to the high bid.
- There shall be KY sales tax of 6% added to the final price (high bid + buyer premium).
- All checks shall be payable to: RE/MAX Preferred & Auction.
- All property must be paid for at the conclusion of the auction.
- All personal property must be removed at the end of the day unless otherwise agreed upon between buyer and seller.
- There will be a $40 NSF fee applied to any checks returned for insufficient funds. In such case, buyer shall also be responsible for any and all costs of collection.
- Announcements made day of sale take precedence over any advertisements.
- The auctioneer's decisions relative to bidding increments, order of sale and any disputes between bidders will be final.
- All information contained in the auction brochure, newspaper advertising, bidder information or supplied either in writing or verbally by staff members was derived from sources believed to be reliable, but not guaranteed. Buyers shall rely on their own information, judgment and inspection of the property and records.
- Licensees and staff have the option of bidding on his/her behalf.
- Neither Seller, Auctioneer nor staff shall be responsible for any injuries.
